While we didn’t finish well in the overall standings, I do believe our team performed well as a whole. We saw some swimmers drop significant times and others were close to their personal bests. This puts us in a good position heading into the final weeks of our season. Remember that our goal is to earn our best times at the Conference meet in February. I posted our results and our top times on the website.
This week, we will be away for our meet against Ritenour on Tuesday. Swimmers will be released from class at 2:45pm on Tuesday because of the time it will take for us to get there by bus. A map to the Ritenour pool can be found here. Thursday, we will be hosting a tri-meet at home against Notre Dame and Barat Academy.
Additionally, our awards banquet is scheduled for Monday, February 23rd from 6-9pm at Andre’s West in Fenton. The banquet is open to all Girls’ Swim and Dive athletes and their families. Cost this year will be $11/person. I have posted an RSVP form on the website. Please fill it out and bring the total payment to me by February 17.
