    4. The official’s registration number must be listed as a part of the Performance List submission process.

    2. In a 6-dive meet, the voluntary dive (Dive 1) shall be selected from the voluntary group of the week (per the schedule in the Swimming and Diving Manual).
    3. Divers may not pull six dives out of an eleven dive meet to qualify using the six-dive meet standards.
  4. The competitor must complete all dives -- NO FAILED DIVES.
  5. Additional requirements for 6-Dive meets:
    1. The five optional dives must represent all five dive groups (forward, back, reverse, inward, twist).

District diving Details

  1. Districts will use the 11-dive meet format.
  2. There will be four districts per class. Two sites in the Kansas City area and two sites in the St. Louis area.
  3. Schools will be assigned to districts based on numerical balance of participants and geographic proximity of schools.
  4. There will be approximately 16-24 participants in each district (however, this depends on total entries)
  5. MSHSAA will hire the Diving Referee for each district, who will serve as a judge as well.
  6. Each District will have a manager, who will work with a meet committee to select 4 or 6 more judges for a total of 5 (minimum) or 7 (preferred). No more than one judge may be affiliated with any school.
  7. The top eight divers at each District Meet will qualify for the State Championships (total of 32 divers in each class).
  8. District diving will be scored as a 16-place meet, meaning cuts made to 20 for semis and to 16 for finals.
