Clayton meet times HERE. Top Times HERE. This meet, the upperclassmen had the opportunity to choose their events for the meet. We saw a number of personal records but I don't believe this was our best effort. We have two practice days before our meet on Friday at home against Clayton. We really need to focus our efforts these next two days so that we can put forth a strong outing Friday.
We have five weeks until Conference and six weeks until State. Kirkwood meet times HERE. Top times HERE. Great job yesterday against Ritenour. We won 109 to 59 putting our dual-meet record at 2-4. We had a lot of personal best times as swimmers competed in events that may not have been their best events. The meet was close up through the 50 free but we started pulling away through the rest of the meet.
Results HERE. Top times HERE. We compete against CBC on Thursday at home. On Friday, the homecoming football game will be against Ritenour. We finished 3rd in the Quad, just 12 points behind 2nd place Parkway North. We had a few upsets and some great close finishes. Many of us continue to drop time in our events which is exactly what we want to do. If you didn't hurt a little after a race, you didn't swim hard enough.
